Zoie uses performance, sculpture, and interactive arts as a platform for self-expression. Using self-constructed set pieces,costumes, and the human body as her materials, Zoie creates works that probe the limits of physical and emotional endurance, exploring these as metaphors for encounters with the threshold between life and death. Through vigorous physicality and vocalization and spatial proximity, these works investigate the relationship between artists and audience, inviting deep exploration of the idea of shared experience and touch.
