In the Union Yoga + Wellness community (members.unionyogawellness.com/landing) we've been playing with Crow Pose. It's such an athletic pose, you wouldn't think it would fit into a therapeutic class, but when you strip it down, it's about a deeply strong core, hip and spine movement, and breath. We do that with somatics and therapeutic yoga here. Class starts with a guided foot massage, so grab a tennis or lacrosse ball--or your Classic Yoga Tune Up therapy balls if you have them--and then a quick massage of the arms. Props are: two blocks, 1-2 blankets, and if you have a bolster grab that, too, for Supta Baddha Konasana toward the end of class. Happy Practice. :)
