Amazing results by working with this system. Postures and movements seem effortless. Postures requiring flexibility seem easy and don’t have that feeling of strong stretching. Similarly, postures and movements requiring strength seem to be able to be done with hardly any effort. At the end of the practice It doesn’t feel like we’ve done a ‘’Work-Out’. It feels like we have done a ‘Work-In’ and we have more energy at the end of the practice than before.
In this video from our practice today I’m moving actively and fluidly from my core rather than locking my core. For most of my students I recommend breathing naturally but in this instance I am also breathing from my core in a circular fashion from the perineum up along the back of my trunk and spine to the top of head and then down the front of my body. This mobilises my spine and massages my internal organs without hyperventilating or overstimulating the nervous system.
I teach much more simple things to my newer students but this week I am really enjoying teaching our advanced intensive course in Maine, USA, with Maha Vidya and really appreciate the brilliant people who have attended.
I am really excited to be teaching our 300 hour intensive in Bali (24 Sep - 27 Oct 2019) and out 200 hour intensive in Goa, India (1-29 Feb 2020). Also looking forward to teaching shorter intensives soon in Brighton, UK; Barcelona; Perth; Israel and Bangkok.
