The story takes place in a world where two nations have been at war for thousands of years. The main character, Iris, is a devoted soldier of one of these two nations. She realizes she has to abandon her post and her country in order to find a mysterious object before either warring nation does. If she doesn't get to it first, they may just destroy all of humanity trying to wipe out one another.
