WIND_SOUND_MOVEMENT is a collaborative art project inspired by the omnipresence of wind to be found here in Iceland. With their different media, Mira Jochimsen/contemporary dancer and Ada Jochimsen/experimental musician have been engaging into an eight-week long artistic journey granted and supported by Reykjavík youth center.
Throughout the explorations they were rethinking the relationship of music and dance aiming at transforming it towards an independent yet connected and encouraging tie. The piece captures these encounters and is playing with movement and sound based loops, allowing the viewers to float into a temporal experience.

Mira Jochimsen/dansari og systir hennar Ada Jochimsen/ tónlistarkona, hafa nú unnið í átta vikur sem einn af Listhópum Hins Hússins en þær sækja innblástur verka sinna til hins íslenska alltumlykjandi vinds.
Í gegn um tilraunir hafa þær kannað samband tónlistar og dans með því markmiði að fá út úr því sjálfstæða en þó samfellda heild. Þær bera á borð niðurstöður kannana sinna með hreyfingum, endurteknum hljóðum og leyfa áhorfendum að fljóta inn í stundarheim upplifunarinnar.
