What's new in food? Welcome to the mag mile here in Chicago where it's always hustling and bustling, and there's always something to see and do. Looking forward to seeing you guys in just a couple weeks for the NRA Show. It should be a spectacular event for the food industry as always.
One of the things I want to challenge you guys to look at when you're here in Chicago are some of the things we've been talking about that are really new and different in food. So, in this video, we're going to walk you back through some of the best things and some of the best places to check out here in Chicago to see how the restaurant industry is really evolving.
You have to check out Amazon Go with four different locations in Chicago, all cashier-less and all specializing in frictionless transactions offering ready-to-eat meals and snacks made by local kitchens and bakeries.
Eater-tainment is coming back in a bold new way. Be sure to check out Punch Bowl Social, a 30,000 foot meat packing plant turned into a grownup playground and restaurant.
