On October 5, 2022 we will launch our Kickstarter campaign. The support we need is for post-production on our social justice statement documentary, "We STL Strong".

Never forget what the murder of Mike Brown Jr meant to the movement. We STL Strong will be a complex story about how state sanctioned violence has caused trauma for black communities not only in the STL Region. But, across the country.

And how five members of the white power structure in STL deny racial bias exists in law enforcement. That the DOJ patterns and practices report on the Ferguson Police Department was a sham. That it wasn't debtors prisons or decades of over policing that led to the Ferguson "riots". That instead, to a man, all stated Dorian Johnson is to blame. Because, he claimed Mike Brown said " Hands Up Don't Shoot" and that it was his "false claim" that caused the "uprising". Please - give us a break.

As a documentary filmmaker having one good antagonist is a blessing. Having five? That's the documentary gods sending us manna from heaven.

And, when you factor in we spoke with a second, diverse group of 24 direct participants like Mama Jamala Rogers, Blake Strode, Kayla Reed, Percy Green and Starsky Wilson, who can best be described as icons, stalwarts, and progressive powerhouses in the black community. Then we hope you find it in your heart to support us come October 5 so we can best tell this important moment in civil rights history.
