This video was made for "Wadeeny" in 2012, a car pooling service, launched for the first time in Egypt. Mixed media was used in this short teaser, combining illustrated animation and realistic cut outs stop motion. Pictures were taken from the streets of Cairo for authenticity. They were edited on Photoshop, then printed and cut out to compose each stop motion scene. A small DIY set up of lights and camera was created to shoot the final video. In post production, the animated character was added along with final compositing.
Program used: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Sound track pro.
