TRIPTYCH blends contemporary classical, electronics and sound art, performed by a quartet of acclaimed musicians including percussionist Beibei Wang, saxophonist Jonathan Chung, cellist Colin Alexander and violinist Tanya Cracknell.
Joined by the forces that are grime artist MC Lady Lykez and movement from House of Absolute (a Ffion Campbell-Davies and Faye Reader duo), the ensemble lead us through a journey of displacement and discovery.
Blending the composer’s own notion of mixed identity with experimental modes of storytelling, TRIPTYCH explores otherness, memory and human connection, and celebrates the power of the female body and voice.
