In the following video, choreographer uses touch to adjust or better mold the dancer's body. After the dancer finishes her body movement and freezes in a pose with both arms in so-called "first position" (maintaining the curved shape, arms are brought up so that the tips of the fingers are no higher than the sternum), the choreographer approaches the dancer, touches, and adjust her arms according to the order and shape he desires.
The assignment of one of the touch functions was performed by two independent human raters who following an instruction manual were asked to assess the tactile communication between the choreographer and a dancer. The raters were explicitly told to take into account the context in which the touch took place.
Please note that the audio sound was switched off when the touch functions were judged.
