250 Wauwatosa West Students walked out of classes on Friday to demand action on guns. Students want counselors and not cops so that schools are welcoming, safe communities for everyone. Students will not feel safe without the common sense gun laws that can protect schools and communities. Students walked out at 14 schools to demand their school provide mental healthcare and a supportive community. They are also pushing for universal background checks on gun sales, extreme risk protection orders and 48 hour waiting periods on gun sales to make schools safer.
