'The Sun Rises' is a short experimental fashion film that came to life whilst artists Melanie Hyams, Isadora Tomasi and Annie van Noortwijk were spending time together in Venice. The film came together through the three of them playing and exploring through image, movement and writing.
The narrative explores the dualities of life, the relationship with the self and others and the challenge of finding yourself amongst the darkness of the unknown that will always be in the future. This film aims to take the viewer on an inward journey; sensitive and strong while finding our balance as we move forward.
