Dreams is out and I couldn’t be happier about the reception! I’m proud to share what I’ve been working on and hope you’ll have a quick look :)

CONTAINS SPOILERS so don’t watch if you’re planning on playing the game.

During my time at Media Molecule, I had the honour of doing the visuals and part of the game design for the Sci-Fi theme from the story mode, Art’s Dream. I got to design D-Bug (the small one), Root-R (the big one), and all the other non-playable robots. I got to create the environments and take them from concept all the way to finished. I even got to design and animate a few motifs such as the diving caterpillars, the venus fly traps, and the spiders. It was a truly unique opportunity to be given this much trust and responsibility and it goes to show how Dreams is the perfect tool for any creative out there wishing to have fun creating games and push their artistic boundaries.

Needless to say, I had a huge amount of help and support from the amazing team at Mm and I couldn’t have done it without them. I especially worked closely with game designer Steven Belcher, art director Kareem Ettouney, and art lead Jon Eckersley to make it happen. Thank you! :)
