Just in time for The Fourth of July, here is the "less-censored version" of the video for The Nationalist Anthem. Sadly, YouTube removed our original version of this video, and so we have uploaded a tweaked version here on Vimeo.

We wrote this song in the days after Heather Heyer was murdered in Charlottesville and have been very ambivalent about releasing it. For us, Sincere Gifts was envisioned as a deeply personal, apolitical, magic-adjacent venture that would be a place to escape to from our deeply troubled world. However, in light of the extremist violence, racism, and hate that has been running deep in the veins of America for centuries but finally being called out explicitly, we felt that it was crucial to use our tiny platform to say something and paint a picture of the demented ghouls who perpetuate white nationalist nonsense and glorify the vilest aspects of humanity.

Sincere Gifts is also deeply excited to announce that this video marks a return to working with our longtime creative collaborator and artistic muse, Deems. It's fitting for our times that this work is a cross-collaboration between artists in America and Russia!
