MISSION: Uplift. Inspire. Empower. Awakening students awareness and understanding of CHOICE - our greatest human freedom and most powerful change making tool.
PURPOSE: To strengthen students physical, mental, emotional and social health and well-being.
TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC: Grades 3 to 8 students across Winnipeg, Canada, the United States and beyond. Now also available digitally for parents and children at home!
METHOD: A 4-week in classroom physical activity program designed to promote mindfulness and illuminate students’ awareness of the messages that they’re sending to their brain via the autonomic nervous system and how bringing attention to our breath, our posture, choosing to smile, and being present can significantly influence the way they navigate their lives.
ANTICIPATED RESULTS: As a result of this intervention, a notable improvement in student well-being, classroom behavior, academic achievement, perseverance/resilience, gratitude, social intelligence, increased self-regulation, and improved mental heath are all to be expected and observed.
