I was fortunate to work on the excellent HBO documentary series 'The Defiant Ones' directed by Allen Hughes. I created several subtle animations and looks from simple stills to give the impression these were shot on location and create a more immersive effect. It was a wide array of shots, some requiring 3D rendering and some were simple 2D moves. This is a quick montage of some of the shots I worked on. The documentary follows the origins of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine in the music industry and how they grew in power and influence, eventually founding the company 'Beats by Dre'.
