This edition provides yet more right-wing misinformation about the use of animals in scientific and medical research, and just what is indeed funded by NIAID, The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which is run by Fauci.

First of all, let's dispel the notion that we "don't need" animals for such research. That's utter bullshit. There is medical research which cannot be accomplished without animals as test vehicles. And the use of animals is not a waste of your taxpayer dollars, but sending money to the White Coats is.

Now, to be clear, yes. Anthony Fauci's NIAID did fund medical research involving beagles in the development of the next generation of AIDS medications. Anything other than animals could not be used in such research. This is explained in this article.

However, either White Coats don't have a fucking clue what they are talking about or they misrepresented the documents purposely. Either way, they are NOT a taxpayer organization. This is the research they tied to Fauci, which was NOT funded by NIAID.

Nevertheless, it was a legitimate research project conducted in Tunisia for a problem that exists in Tunisia. It was not conducted as described by the White Coats, who really do not give a shit about accuracy. Their founder, by the way, was a rising star in the American Association of POLITICAL CONSULTANTS. He is not a champion for the taxpayer or a scientist. He is a right-wing, anti-Fauci political operative who was also instrumental in the Defund Planned Parenthood movement.
