A McDonald´s store made of gingerbread is something you will only see for Christmas. With this certain attention to detail we created a winter wonderland as a perfect warm up for Christmas. The gingerbread store also works as an advent calendar promising the one or other surprise – and of course these are also made of gingerbread.
The whole CGI setting and campaign – no matter if TV, print or POS – was produced with Unreal Engine, the game engine from Epic Games. “This Real-Time-Technology delivers highest flexibility in creating the sets and finding the best camera movement as we are not struggling with rendertime any more. This is a real value for both 3D artists and creatives”, says Roman Saravia, head of innovation at Friendly Fire.
