Demonstration of following a target in the video stream. Movement of the target in the video stream creates a movement by the drone to attempt to center the target into the center of the video.
The drone hovers in place until the target is recognized, then moves horizontally to center it, but also is descending when the target is seen. As the target diameter grows in the video feed the descent rate slows, conversely when the target is small its descent is fast. This algorithm works also when the target is to the outside of the video frame window. The movements to center the target are greater the further away from the center of the video it appears, slowing as we reach center to stop an over shoot.
