OCTOBER 5, 2021 - Hire Learning Summit
The Hire Learning Summit brings together business leaders, elected officials, and the education establishment to ask hard questions on workforce and competitiveness. This year's summit will feature dynamic, interactive conversations with the presidents of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, top Biden administration officials, and leads from global companies. The questions: is our education system preparing all American students for innovation-economy careers? How can we accelerate the process of bringing meaningful diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging to campus and to the workplace? And do American companies have a responsibility to become creators rather than consumers of talent?

OCTOBER 29, 2021 - Annual Forum
The Annual Forum usually features a prominent public official as the keynote, as well as the possibility of a panel discussion. The focus changes annually, based on the year’s most pressing policy issues. This event also honors a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is awarded to people who demonstrate business excellence, impeccable ethics and community engagement.

NOVEMBER 19, 2021 - Innovating Equity Summit
The Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) proudly presents its inaugural Innovating Equity Summit, a conference featuring artistic performances, cross-sector conversations with executives, and interactive breakout sessions focused on sustaining equitable business practices across our organizations. Equity-focused discussions take many directions because we use the same terms, but in different ways. To advance Equity, we need to name it, frame it, and explain it. While "Equity" is synonymous with fairness and justice in legal systems, how does that translate into corporate environments? In business, "Equity" is the ownership of the asset of value, distributed across shareholders. The Innovating Equity Summit will look at the strategies being used to address racial equity across business communities. Establishing a shared language to present data, describe conditions, and take action, SVLG brings the Innovating Equity Summit to engage in learning and storytelling on moving this work forward.
