Designed for a family, located in a Melbourne suburb, this project is an exploration of space and form driven by physical context, solar orientation, energies, spatial movement, elasticity.
Circulation path draws from under part of the building, bending and connecting to the entry level. The spaces terrace with the natural slope of the land, engaging and immersing with the landscape, the living areas divert, cut & flow into it, dividing.
The building’s skin enfolds and moves, deforming from horizontal to vertical geometries parametrically.
