Stick Your Neck Out is a charity created by two sisters, Sophia and Madison, to help save Giraffes from extinction. Sophia Steinert and Madison Choate, fell in love with Giraffes when they visited the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Wild Animal Park. On that trip they learned Giraffes were endangered and vowed to so something to help save the Giraffes. But, as so often happens in life, the sisters never acted on their idea as their lives quickly became consumed with school, sports, scouting, and other activities. That all changed as soon as they saw recent photographs of hunters killing Giraffes. Sophia and Madison could not understand why anyone would want to kill a Giraffe, especially since there are so few left in our world. This act spurred the girls to action. They started off on a journey to create a charity that will provide funding for various organizations dedicated to protecting Giraffes and their habitats.
