A short film of our summer 2019 collaboration with 10 European young theatre makers, as a part of the KAIROS Erasmus+ funded project led by Kildare Youth Theatre at Crooked House, Newbridge.
Something Wicked... explores the idea of violence as thought and aggression as action - set within the meeting between two families where a small incident escalates into tragedy. All framed by Umberto Eco's 14 Common Features of Fascism.
The performers are Philip, Panos, Nedi, Anna Luna, Cian, Kayliegh, Sinéad, Daniel, Sarah and Tibbe - they use English, Flemish, Spanish, Greek, and Gaeilge.
