With a fabulous breakout session regarding the School to Prison Pipeline, expertly presented by Ron King, Jr., a Charlotte-area educator, and a passionate panel of single Moms and Dads, this year #SSS was able to be part of the Pop-up Village at the Movement School on Freedom Drive.
We also had the powerful Tiawanna Brown, of Beauty After the Bars, an advocate for women and girls, read the Proclamation received in 2018 to the audience...a sobering, yet empowering moment!
