- Take a big step out to one side.
- The non-moving leg will remain straight, with the knee locked out during the whole movement.
- Lunge onto the leg that you stepped out with, bringing the butt behind the heel of the moving foot.
- Push out of the lunge explosively and bring the knee up to hip level and hold for a second.
- Continue on the same leg for desired amount of reps.
- Hold weight in front to make it harder. (optional)
