This is North Star Diner - a locally inspired, plant based, environmentally friendly vegan diner located in North Bay, Ontario. North Star Diner creates amazing dishes with food sourced locally, and embodies sustainability and care for the environment by supporting local farms and growers in our community.

Together with the support of The Escape Movement, I told the stories of eight different business owners in North Bay. We released one a week leading up to the holiday season in hopes that our community would choose to purchase their gifts from a local business rather than from monopolizing supermarkets, and invest in their community instead this year.

North Star Diner is located in the old Demarco's confectionery on Algonquin Street, open for lunch Thursday/Friday 9-3pm, Saturday/Sunday 10-3pm. You can visit North Star Diner online @thenorthstartravellingcafe
