Shelter Run is an experimental animated short I made in 2016.
The animation was made with a kind of collage stop-motion technique: I put together unrelated photographs to create movement.
The source material were photographs of the dog shelter in Zadar, where I volunteered during high school, and were all taken by me.

The theme was depicting the struggle that a dog faces in a shelter, in the form of an old-school game: you must collect bones to maintain health, avoid conflict with other dogs, avoid fleas and diseases and try to get photographed, because that improves your chances.
