I need to clarify:
The Assembly did act on a last minute statement “ The Church in This Moment in History: responding to the Sin of Racism and a Call to Action”. This statement encourages churches, leaders and mid councils to review and study the reports that were supposed to come to the assembly but have been postponed to the next assembly.
There were several attempts to bring to the Assembly for action or comment the report “Disparities Experienced by Black Women and Girls” [that did not pass.]
