My first animation with Selena made by Look Rig. The rigs they have are well worth the money and they look good too. Every time I do a walk cycle I learn something or try something new. Such as translating the hips in X in order to get hip sway instead of just rotating them in Z.
This was the first time I experimented on a walk cycle without touching the COG and just using IK hips and chest. It took some getting used to but the end result is that I can freely push keys around without restricting the driving movement to the COG. Maybe I want to have the hips lead or vice versa have the chest lead. I can do that with this workflow. One concern I had was maintaining volumes, but if 2d animators can do it, so can we! :)
