SEE ME BECAUSE: The Art Start Portrait Project is a multimedia creative platform for historically marginalized youth to portray the complex narratives about their identities, asking the world to see them for how they choose to be seen. Join Art Start and Milwaukee Public Schools' Black and Latino Male Achievement Department for this immersive exhibition in commemoration of Milwaukee's Boys and Men of Color Week. Engage our public campaign, #SeeMeBecause and follow @seemebecause to join the movement to support our young men of color #liberation through #self-determination.
