- Take a dumbbell in one hand.
- Stand on one leg with your hips, chest and head facing forward.
- The other leg will remain with the toe down with the heel up, putting all the weight on the working leg.
- Push your chest out and hollow your lower back.
- The DB should be in front of the working leg. The arm holding it will remain perpendicular to the floor throughout the exercise.
- Keeping a slight bend in your standing knee, lean forward and bring the DB straight down the leg as far as you can go without rounding the back.
- With the working leg still relatively straight, come back up into an upright standing position.
- Keep your chest pushed out, back hollowed and your hips facing forward throughout
the whole movement.
