My team was approached by Psyonix to develop sponsored content for the Ford F-150 car skin in Rocket League. We created a series of cinematic vignettes that showcased a tasteful sponsor integration with in-game content by having the F-150 perform various tasks to 'prep' the field before play. These vignettes were debut as part of various RLCS broadcasts to create a sense of anticipation before the match begins. The personality of each caster commenting over the clips really helped amplify the effect of this content by creating a fun and lighthearted approach to what is typically very sterile and cold brand partnerships.

As someone who still plays Rocket League casually to relax, it was absolutely a joy to be able to work on this. My role was pretty specific to animation for the 'centering the ball' vignette and was tricky but fun to animate the ball to mimic the in-game mechanics. Big props to the rest of my team who were absolute beasts on this project including Ellerey Gave, Benji Thiem, Melissa Oakley, Daniel Visconti, Mitsuka Thiem, Daryl Uribe, and Jen Lauck.
