Mother Earth is sending us signs... are we listening? Introducing RISE, a surreal escape into the curious depths of the sea in all its beauty, where life emerges and human and nature are inextricably connected in the great web of life. Submerged, we reach the bottom of the ocean which holds all of Earth’s history and are abruptly swept into a dystopian world dominated by the winding catastrophic effects of climate change. Dancers awaken only to realize that we are here; we are in crisis and the fight to save humanity on Earth exists with a ticking clock. In a spirited observance of the upcoming 50th anniversary of Earth Day we reflect on its resulting landmark environmental laws, inspiring a call to action in writing the next imperative decade of change in our shared climate story.
