On Saturday, October 9, 2021, American Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers are currently assisting people displaced by a flash flooding at townhome complex on the 5000-block of Dana Drive, in Raleigh, NC. Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteers are on-scene and supporting virtually, helping multiple people by evaluating needs and providing assistance. Currently, the Red Cross is helping 27 people from 13 townhome units, by providing financial assistance for food, clothing, lodging, lost medications and other essentials.
