At first, we wanted to make animation to get Ryan’s attention. He is an Indonesian celebrity who is also an animator. Ryan has several characters on his Instagram that he often appears with stories about childhood memories. And We use Ryan’s characters in this animation.

In the middle of the production process, there is an animation competition held by another celebrity named Kristo Emmanuel. This competition called #kristomation2. Kristo is an Instagram voice impersonator content creator. Kristo held an animation competition for the voice over he had made.

Therefore, you can see the difference between the concept we created at the beginning and the final animation.

This animation competition focuses on action. So we created more action scenes with dynamic camera angles. The story focuses on children’s imagination which we used to do in the past: Fighting monsters that attacked the city!

In the end, we managed to win the competition and got Ryan’s attention.
