Where we grow up plays an undeniable role in shaping us. Certain circumstances can force us to deal with more adversity than others. At times, that adversity can feel like it will break us. Often though,
the challenges we learn to cope with daily, give us the edge that allows us to navigate the world in the long run. These are the traits that make us winners, leaders and survivors.

These Diamonds in the Rough eventually grow out of these turbulent environments, and create healthier lives for themselves elsewhere. But, if “making it out” is the goal, who is left to take care of home?

LA RUE INSPIRE teamed up with PUMA to create a movement that encourages people to make an effort towards improving their neighborhoods, so that the next generation can benefit from the advantages of growing up in a more positive space. -
