My heart’s revolution

My heart’s revolution is dance and sound performance inspired by personal experiences of communication with the others, with ourselves; it is an approach to small universes, to encounters that possibly made us more human.

The meeting between Paola Madrid, Mat Voorter, Aurèle Belliard and Yamila Ríos allows them to search together for an artistic form of the story. The dance explores from the inside to the outside the vivid transformations, the crossing of the possible social obstacles with which man fights for his independence. matter, sound and movement are questioned in relation to the need and some form of truth.

The weight that she carries materializes on stage through a mass – a stone – that interferes with her progress while walking - a birth and its end, a question about oneself and one's own choices. the constant dialogue with the sound introduces the rhythm that causes the transformation.
When, – the stone - revealed in this woman's body, the choreography visits personal but also social and cultural stories; the proposal is a mirror of ourselves which reviews, through the gaze of the spectator, the facets of a collective history. a hidden but omnipresent story.
