Welcome to the final Pilates Minute for the summer. The Roll Over is a challenging movement that requires control in order to perform it properly. Make sure your tempo is steady through the entire movement; you want to use your core strength, not momentum, to get the legs up and over. If you want an additional challenge, take your arms overhead and that will ensure you aren't using your triceps to help push you up and over. Also, be sure to control and move slowly as the legs come back down. Finally, keep the shoulder bridge connected to the mat. You do no want to put pressure on the cervical spine, so you should feel like your shoulder blades are staying connected to the mat.
