P.I.E.C.E.S. is the Burlington Community School District’s free after school program operating Monday through Friday for students in grades K-8. Each elementary through middle school building has a P.I.E.C.E.S. program that operates in their school from school dismissal until 6:00 pm nightly. Students have homework time, snack, recess, and participate in hands-on enrichment activities in STEM, STEAM, arts, science, social studies, music, and character development. Students regularly attending P.I.E.C.E.S. are encouraged to participate in our partner programs during after school time that include Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, the Art Center, 4-H, Starr’s Cave, SCC STEM clubs, and the Burlington Public Library. The older students in grades 5-8 have club time during after school where they can choose to participate in clubs such as BMX biking, Disc Golf, Drones, Engineering, Animation, Drama, or Harry Potter. Students have a safe, free, and supportive environment to go to immediately after school that also makes learning fun with interactive activities. To register complete the link below......
