I made this sound installation in Keelung, Taiwan. The abandoned xylophone is the center of the work. I used the two moving fans in the ceiling to move the bamboo sticks and laces (with bronze heads), their up-and-down movement created the sounds. The four asynchronised moving fans on the floor increased horizontal air movement. Their accidental movement moved the hanging laces so they don't drop on the same bars every time.
