In September of 2019, I was commissioned to create this animation for an in-progress PBS pilot episode. The series was a live action, Storycorps-style documentary series, but was to feature this animated segment in the pilot. Working with a very short turnaround time, this animated was based on a loose script/storyboard of a real, personal audiostory (from the perspective of two parents). Ultimately after several months of the television production process, it was not accepted by the network.
