Progression / Order — what does the chosen order of the material communicate ? Can you explain to yourselves why the material flows in a certain order ?:
I chose to show the Influence films environmental filmography and then our creative filmography to show our organizations focus on environmental films as well as our use of creative storytelling and musical composition which I show in the second half of the video. I did this to show the myriad of film styles we can use in service to our customers.

Juxtaposition — How does juxtaposition affect the meaning and power of the images ? (Juxtaposition is the film editing technique of combining of two or more shots to evoke an idea or state of mind) I used shots of environmental buety juxtapositions against environmental devastation with the butterfly imagery to show that environmental devastation does in fact heavily effect the butterfly population. I also showed the title sequence of the toxic deep with the protest sign stating facts about ocean pollution in order to show action. I used the finished product of our animation project with images of me and Mauricio, working on the project to show that a lot of hard work goes into making these animations. I also show off some of our music and music video work so as to show the multitude of services offered by the influence films.

Pacing — How does the timing of the cuts effect the pacing? Is the mood meant to be sombre (slow cutting) or frenetic / anxious (fast cutting)? I use upbeat music with fast cuts to give the feeling of doing a lot of work in a short period of time.

Sound — Is there music / sound effects / narration? Why was it chosen, and what does it add to the essay? Does it provide more than mood and tone? Is it effective ? Necessary? I use upbeat Muzak style music to create an upbeat consumer friendly feel, while not necessarily necessary it does add an upbeat shopping feel to this montage advertising our service by showing what we can do.
