Paraíso Perdido is an independent movement film created by Krist Muñoz-Malavé (Writer & Director), Thalía Muñoz-Malavé (Choreographer & Ensemble Dancer) and Shannon Starr (Producer & Choreographer) based on John Milton’s “Paradise Lost”. Paraíso Perdido chronicles Lucifer’s attempt to triumph over God after being banished to Hell told through classical and contemporary movement with an original score composed by Max Franko. This experimental short film features an all Hispanic cast of actors & dancers and aims to serve as a voice to celebrate the diversity and beauty of the Hispanic race & culture. After many months of preparation, we are incredibly excited to begin production on this passion project and humbly ask for any contributions you may be able to make to this extraordinary project.
