I was very fortunate to get these shots when I first joined the Onward anim team. As a crowds/fix animator, once in a while we get to do small hero shots here and there. The even cooler part was that this was the first time I got to share a shot with my mentor, Ricky Wight. Ricky is a badass animator who also happens to be from Hawaii too!
(fun animation fact: every fairy wing you see in the entire movie... is hand animated. Every. Single. Wing.)
