This animation is one part of ethnocultural project “ON THE TIP OF A TONGUE”.
The animation is a closer look to rich and colourful rituals of Lithuanian holidays. There are five distinct ethnocultural regions in Lithuania and all of them have unique traditional events. Many of the traditions are closely linked to yearly seasons. Full animation make up a full cycle of the year from winter to autumn. We introduce all regions by their most unique festival traditions, such as jumping over the flames, singing or banishing winter away.
