Maria Turcios is originally from Honduras and enjoys her life of faith and her family: her husband and her 7 children and 9 grandchildren. She also enjoys serving the community and sees her role as a blessing, at NSM where she started as a volunteer 7 years age, before becoming an employee.

As an outreach coordinator for the New Sanctuary Movement with her own story of immigration, Maria Turcios reflects on the blessing she receives in her work and the hope for a better tomorrow for migrant peoples.
