“Occipital: a digital collection” reunites part of my artwork through the exploration of film, animation, augmented reality, visual effects, and game design. It honors the reality I lived as a MD and a creative while prompting the brain lobe responsible for visual interpretation. Cinemagraphs and clips showcase Vargas Hospital. References to Instagram, TikTok, Google, and Apple highlight the influence of content consumption. Collage animations screened during Melao’s catwalk combined personal and public domain pictures of Venezuela’s icons. God/Isten shows my animation of artist Dagor mural using video mapping. 3D models generated as AR filters were inspired by Caracas’ landmarks: Clock Tower (Villanueva), Floating Clouds (Calder), and Caracas Sphere (Soto). I designed Empanada Maravilla inspired by Venezuela’s typical foods, and it resembles Flappy Bird. Stop, developed in its entirety by me, was inspired by Stop the bus game. Music by Artlist.io
