this was filmed with an iphone back in 2018 as a class project at Hollins University in my MFA Dance program. quick and dirty... and all on imovie. i noticed the ribbons on these gorgeous trees i saw when i was studying in the lil patio outside my dorm. walking around the campus, i gathered info from campus employees, professors and administrators, past students and current about what they thought was happening with the trees. i also gained info about the people that the plantation and university held as slaves, as well as stories about the servants and all girl students. there are some ghosts on the campus of my beloved alma matter.

all that is woven together in this first ever all made and edited by me dance for film. the trees are all gone, as a new dorm building was planned to be constructed there. also, all the teacher's housing got pulled down. i saw that with my own eyes. haven't seen the dorms. as it stands, its still "observational gossip". but the ghosts are not.
