My design of the NO patchwork is rooted in conversations about consent and the socialization that causes such difficulty for many women to say NO to almost anything. I started making the patchworks after the 2016 election of Donald Trump; equating political strong-arming to nonconsensual acts of aggression. The NO patchwork has taken several forms as patchworks and animation.
