On Monday July 6th we had a very special screening of excerpts from the film From Wharf Rats to Lords of the Docks and a conversation with the film’s creator artist Ian Ruskin. This important film chronicles the life of Harry Bridges, an immigrant who led the way to form the International Longshore and Warehouse Union, the ILWU. We had a great discussion afterwards about Ian's work, Harry Bridges and the labor movement. Thanks to everyone who attended.
